“I am very grateful to our Staff and Volunteers, Trustees and
Friends who work so hard to make Neurosupport the thriving community it
is—offering advice, information and going that extra mile for all our
clients and visitors.”
Maureen Kelly, Chief Executive
Who We Are and What We Do
Neurosupport offers non-medical advice to people with neurological conditions and the families, friends and carers who support them.
Our Philosophy (ethos, culture, belief)
We believe that neurological conditions are often misunderstood and stigmatised by society. To answer this we aim to:
- Offer up to date information.
- Increase awareness of neurological conditions.
- Advance discussion and debate.
- Nurture self-confidence and independence.
- Put forward positive examples of ability.
- Push for improved services for people with neurological conditions.
Partnership
Neurosupport believes that working in partnership with fellow neurological organisations enables us to get our message more clearly and effectively.
Neurosupport is an active member of the National Neurological Alliance and has brought together the first regional alliance in the United Kingdom. For more information on how to join contact Maureen Kelly at 0151 298 2999.
