Not ready or able to work

If work is not an option for at the moment then Neurosupport can still provide you with help and advice on improving your quality of life.

Courses

We put on a number of short courses throughout the year. These include art classes, a reading group, relaxation and complementary therapies and IT. Currently some of these are held in our centre and some of them are held in community venues, but are specifically for people with neurological conditions. For up-to-date information on courses and availability please contact the Information Officer

Support group

Once a month we hold a “Coffee, tea and company” get together at Neurosupport. It is held on the 1st Monday of the month (except bank holidays) from 10.30 – 12pm and is an opportunity to meet with other people who have personal experience of neurological conditions over a relaxing cup of coffee. It is also a chance to see the Centre, visit the library and ask our peer advocates any questions you may have about Neurosupport. For the dates of the next meeting please see the calendar.

Guidance
