Support for employers

Neurosupport employment advisors have over 13 years of experience supporting employers of people with neurological conditions. As an employer, your employees are a valuable asset and as many neurological conditions first develop when people are of working age it is important that both their needs and the needs of the employer are suitably managed and worked through.

We can offer assistance when:

  • A current employee develops a neurological condition or receives a brain injury
  • A current employee’s condition deteriorates or changes
  • A person with a neurological condition or brain injury applies for a job
  • You or your staff wish to raise your awareness of neurological conditions in general, or one condition in particular

The Working Life Team at Neurosupport can offer a range of services to help you to manage any changes necessary once an employee has made you aware of their condition and also when employing a new person who has a disability.

We can offer you:

  • Information on specific conditions
  • Advice on adaptations to the workplace
  • Advice on your legal responsibilities under the Equalities Act
  • Job coach support to individuals
  • Awareness training to team members in the workplace
  • Information on available grants
